摘要
The purpose of the study is to examine the creativity of students' creative idea creation in product design using the SCAMPER technique. Twenty-five third-year product design students aged twenty to twenty-two participated in eight weeks of design activity. The creative idea generation from the SCAMPER technique was explained to students on how to use it and enhance students' creativity for their idea generation. The results of the study demonstrated that using the SCAMPER technique helped students generate creative ideas to tackle the existing problems of the products, as measured by four indictors of creativity: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration.
