Facile and Efficient Electrochemical Synthesis of Lanthanum Hydroxide Nanospindles and Nanorods

Herein, we report a template- and surfactant-free electrochemical approach for the preparation of nanospindles and nanorods on F-doped substrates. The morphology of the deposits is easily tuned by adjusting the concentration of dimethyl sulfoxide. Moreover, the as-synthesized products show an environmental engineering application due to their remarkable capability in removing organic dye from water.
