The optimization model of fiber dimension of membrane bioreactor is presented by selecting the axial flux distribution coefficient and energy consumption product as objective functions.The numerical simulation shows that fiber length is proportional to membrane fouling and inversely proportional to energy consumption product.Increasing fiber diameter could prevent fouling,but it reduces packing density and leads to less energy consumption product.A fiber length range 1.45-1.86 m was recommended when the design flux is 1622 L(/m 2 ·h)with the inner diameter 0.6 mm and outer diameter 1.1 mm.With the inner fiber increasing from 0.5 mm to 1 mm,the calculated fiber length is 1.24-3.72 m.
