Lanthanide functionalized MOF thin films as effective luminescent materials and chemical sensors for ammonia

A series of Lanthanide functionalized MOF thin films on Al₂O₃ are fabricated using designed linkers, whose unique luminescence performance is shown to be a sensitive probe toward ammonia.
