Usage of advanced functions of Dynamic Shear Rheometer for the selection of a suitable binder for asphalt mixtures

Asphalt pavements often have a tendency to creation of cracks and potholes, which can be associated with a decrease of the functional properties of asphalt binder. This decrease can be caused either by inadequate use of binders for the intended application, or undesirable change of binder properties during usage, most often due to excessive oxidative aging of asphalt binders in the asphalt mixtures.
