摘要
The study of subthalamic (STN) local field potentials (LFPs) led to significant advancement in the understanding of the pathophysiology of Parkinson's disease (PD). PD is associated with pathological spectral power in the β band (11–30 Hz range), and it is also characterized by β phase- high frequency (200-500 Hz) amplitude coupling (PAC). Although both β band spectral power and PAC correlate with PD severity, whether their changes are consistent with different electrodes geometry is still a matter of debate.
