Requirements in Selection and Confi guration of Recovery Gas Compressor in UNIPOL Polypropylene Plant

In this article, the working condition of gas recovery compressor used in UNIPOL polypropylene plant were introduced. Based on analysis, it was considered that use of labyrinth reciprocating compressor can meet the requirements in specifi cation for the compressor used in this plant. Required features of gas recovery compressor, including form, structure, gas temperature control, lubrication, cooling, ability adjustment and auxiliary instruments, were discussed. What presented herein may be valuable in later selection and design of compressor.
