Preparation of SiO_2-TiO_2 Mixed Oxide by Sol-Gel Method and Stability Study

SiO2TiO2 mixed oxide with 20 wt% TiO2 was prepared by solgel one step hydrolysis method with lowcost TiCl4 as precursor and the effect of calcination temperature was also studied The properties of the samples calcined at the different temperature were investigated by N2 physisortion, FTIR and XRD The specific area of the prepared mixed oxide could be up to 6617m2/g and still possess 11m2/g after calcined at 1100℃ The mixed oxide had good stability and calcination in a wide range of temperature didn't result in the break of TiOSi band It kept in the form of amorphous even if being calcined at high temperature 
