Probing into the History,Status of Continuing Education for Chinese and American Medical Librarians and Model about Regionally Continuing Medical Education

Detailiedly retrospected of the history,status of continuing education for Chinese and American medical librarians,the necessity,content and methods of continuing education for medical librarians in network environment have been discussed.Regionally continuing medical education mode:A new model of continuing medical education for Canton,Hongkong and Macao has been put forward,the framework,characteristics and implemented methods for which have been dicussed.In this article,a virtual-netlike-layered mode of continuing education for medical librarians has been given also.
