Research progress of new lithium salt lithium difluoro(oxalate) borate

Lithium difluoro(oxalate) borate(LiODFB) is a new type of lithium salt electrolyte which has a great potential to replace LiPF6, and has wide application prospect in lithium-ion battery. The structure, basic properties and preparation methods of LiODFB were introduced. The performance of electrolyte and lithium-ion battery based on LiODFB was summarized.
