摘要
Digitalization is a process that radically transforms labour markets and employment practices, weakening traditional norms and bringing new models of flexibility and employment to the fore. The digitalization process has accelerated with the emergence of cloud computing, artificial intelligence-based tools, and platform economies. These transformations have brought about new forms of work, such as platform and gig economies, remote work, pseudo-self-employment, and algorithm-driven work arrangements. Key dynamics of digitalization include the erosion of standard employment practices, the proliferation of precarious working conditions, and the surveillance and control of workers. The COVID-19 pandemic has deepened job insecurity and income inequalities by accelerating the digitalization. But also digital tools have offered new opportunities for class struggle. Within the scope of the study, digitalization and the key concepts used to explain it, the relationship between digitalization and flexibility, and new class struggle practices are discussed based on critical approaches.
