RETRACTED: Borneol enhances the protective effect against cerebral ischemia/ reperfusion injury by promoting the access of astragaloside IV and the components of Panax notoginseng saponins into the brain

This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief. The article duplicates significant parts of a paper that had already appeared in “Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs, 50 (2019) 1649–1656 DOI: 10.7501/j.issn.0253-2670.2019.07.023” and “Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs, 50 (2019) 4389–4397 DOI: 10.7501/j.issn.0253-2670.2019.18.019”. One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that the paper has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Re-use of any data should be appropriately cited. As such this article represents a misuse of the scientific publishing system. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
