Research on the Planning of Jiangsu Yancheng New Power System Demonstration Zone with New Energy Resources

As the prefecture-level city with the largest area, the widest sea area, and the longest coastline in Jiangsu Province, Yancheng is the frontier for promoting the province's energy transformation and accelerating energy reform. The construction of a new power system with new energy as the main body is the essential guarantee of Yancheng's achievement to "carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality". This paper analyzes Yancheng's situation in the new power system planning with new energy as the main body on the basics of Yancheng's energy resources endowment. Then it clarifies the positioning and principles of new power system planning with new energy as the main body. It finally builds an overall structure of the new power system planning model based on Yancheng Demonstration Zone.
