Foreign-Body Aspiration in a Child

A 12-month-old girl presented to the emergency department with a history of coughing and stridor after a choking episode. A chest radiograph showed right-lung opacification and volume loss, rightward shift of the mediastinum, and left-lung hyperinflation.
