TOURIST ACTIVITIES ON THE LANDS OF THE BIOSPHERE RESERV

The lands of the nature reserve fund are protected as national property. Therefore, their use, reproduction and protection should be clearly defined and regulated. Particular attention should be paid to biosphere reserves. They can consists from other nature conservation objects which are in total makes entire object of strict protection, so it is appropriate to consider them from the view of tourism.The highest degree of protection of nature conservation areas in Ukraine have natural and biosphere reserves. The lands of natural and biosphere reserves, as well as the nature reserve fund in general, are land and water areas with natural complexes and objects of special nature conservation, ecological, scientific, aesthetic, recreational and other value, which according to the law are granted the status territories and objects of the nature reserve fund. Biosphere reserves are created in order to preserve the most typical natural complexes of the biosphere, to carry out background environmental monitoring, to investigate the environment and its changes under the influence of anthropogenic factors.With regard to tourism on biosphere lands should be mentioned, multiconstituent objects. When other natural reserves objects are included in the biosphere reserve. Any activity within the biosphere reserve should be based on their functional zoning. Biosphere reserves have three zones – core zone, buffered and anthropogenic landscape. Tourism can be introduced for recreational purposes, only in the zone of anthropogenic landscape but it is not the main aim. According to the classification of objects of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine, recreational activities are carried out on the lands of national nature parks.The implementation of tourism activities in the national nature parks are carried out on the zones of regulated recreation. In this zone is allowed a short-term rest and health improvement of the population, installation and proper equipment of hiking trails and ecological trails. Tourist infrastructure objects such as hotels, motels, campsites can be located in the recreational zone of national nature parks.
