摘要
p53 plays a pivotal role in the regulation of cellular senescence. We reveal an SLC52A1-mediated negative feedback mechanism that counterbalances the prosenescence functions of p53. SLC52A1, a p53 target, impairs the AMPK-p53 pathway through activation of mitochondrial complex II to mitigate DNA damage-induced senescence.
