When we set up some wind turbines, we have to consider the effect of the turbine wake. The turbine wake acts on the power or durabilities of the downstream turbines, so we need to know the characteristic of the turbine wake. CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) is an efficient method to know it, which provides the information about the blade tip vortex, vortex breakdown and so on. In this study, we analyzed the rotating wind turbine by CFD method focusing on the turbine wake. We solved Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equation in steady state by applying k-ωSST model as turbulence model, and we reviewed the result by comparing with the data of experiment. Then we confirmed that the result is well accorded with the data of experiment and it can be said that the result shows us the characteristic of the turbine wake on some level.
