摘要
Recovery and stabilization of waterlogged bone requires special conservation procedures to prevent cracking, splitting, and distortion. Conservation of the skeletal remains from the Windover Site (8BR246), Titusville, Florida, used two consolidants, polyethylene glycol (PEG) and Rhoplex AC-33. A comparison of their performance is presented with the suggestion that Rhoplex produces superior results.
