Powder Coating Technology

Abstract Powder coating technology is an environmentally friendly, nonpolluting coating process, providing coatings with improved performance for functional or decorative purposes. The commercial importance of the technology has been growing in mature as well as growing markets. The principles of powder coating technology, from the materials used through their processing to application of the coating on a substrate, are discussed.
