Modern research progress on pharmacological effects of paeoniflorin

It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-tumor, immune regulation, nerve protection, anti-depression, improvement of diabetic nephropathy, anti-oxidation, and inhibition of intracellular Calcium overload, improve mitochondrial function, reduce dyslipidemia, inhibit apoptosis and inhibit cell autophagy and other biological activities.
