The socio-economic conditions around us have been significantly deteriorating taking a toll on the mental health of each contributing to an escalation in the number of people agonizing mental health issues such as anxiety, stress, etc. Due to the corona virus outbreak, many individuals suffered the feeling of helplessness and depression during this time, although the action and reaction vary from person to person, some may be panicking or some may be suffering from collective hysteria, the feeling of helplessness is also emerging due to the desperation and hopelessness caused by the disease. These circumstances demand compelling contemplation in order to eradicate or control the shoot up in the number of cases worldwide. In this paper, we introduce Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and its importance in today's time looking at the cur- rent scenario. Throughout the years, there has been an evolution in the way CBT treatment is done. Nowadays, CBT has become more easily accessible as compared to before because sometimes a person's condition might not be that serious and so they might feel awkward going for a therapy session. It will help to treat a lot of people at one time and that too according to their convenience. As of now, we can combine CBT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help and reach out to larger audiences keeping in mind to provide convenience and ease, while having the therapy. The motive is to make them appreciate every part of life and look for a positive reason behind everything.
