In recent years, the in situ growth of perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) in a glass medium using a femtosecond laser has attracted widespread attention. However, these studies suffer from several drawbacks, including complexity of sample preparation and requirement for high laser power. These limitations have significantly constrained their potential applications. In this study, CsPbBr3, γ-CsPbI3, and CsPb(Br1–xIx)3 PQDs with a tunable composition and band gap were generated in situ within an organic transparent medium using a femtosecond laser. The pulse energy of the femtosecond laser used for PQDs generation in the organic medium could be decreased to only 1 nJ. The achieved resolution (dot separation distance) could be improved to about 700 nm. Furthermore, a compact organic medium matrix contributes well to prolonging the preservation time and maintaining the luminescence properties of PQDs. Because of these, we successfully realized high quality three-dimensional patterns of PQDs in the organic medium, which further expands their potential applications.
