The Situation of Combined Utilization Between Seawater Desalination and the Thermal Power Plant

Aiming at more serious shortage of water resource in domestic,a new hybrid MSF/RO seawater desalination technology is proposed by combination the reuse of energy discarded from thermal power plant with the traditional seawater desalination technology.The new hybrid MSF/RO desalination has its own economy and superiority comparison with the traditional signal desalination technology.This paper also describes the prospect of the development direction and key techniques in seawater desalination.
