Bone Mineral Density Assessment Using Spectral Topograms From a Clinical Photon-Counting Detector CT System: A Phantom Evaluation

Bone mineral density assessments in a spine phantom had lower errors by spectral topograms from a clinical photon-counting detector CT scanner than by a DXA system. Bone mineral density assessments by PCD CT also had high reproducibility.
