摘要
This paper provides a method for comprehensive evaluation and analysis of walkways in urban areas. The walkways of Xidawang Road and Beigongda Road are taken as an example. Pedestrians' responses on the improvement of current walkways are collected by questionnaire. The entropy weight index system method is used for quantitative analysis, which includes five aspects: hardware, aesthetics, comfort, security, and convenience. A total of 15 indicators are set. The technical conditions of the sections were divided into five grades ("excellent," "good," "medium," "secondary," and "poor") through clustering analysis. The service level of each section was analyzed based on per capita occupancy space and pedestrian flow rate. Results show that among the 25 sections, 1 unqualified area of pedestrian satisfaction (including 7 road sections), 7 unqualified road sections of facility level, and 7 unqualified road sections of operation level were identified and some optimization strategies were proposed.
