Clinical application of column agglutination technique in diagnosing autoimmune hemolytic anemia

Objective To discuss the application of columm agglutination technique (CAT)in diagnosing autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA).Methods Twenty-six patients with AIHA were detected by two methods, BioVue System CAT and traditional tube agglutination technique (TAT).Results The results of detecting rate were showed not significant difference betwecen CAT and TAT.The agglutinate intention of CAT was higher 1 +～2 + than that of TAT,and CAT could increase positive rates from the negative blood samples tested by TAT. Conelusion BioVue System CAT is a rapid, reliable, sensitive method for the diagnosis of AIHA.
