摘要
A dual-band microwave photonic radar based on optical frequency combs (OFCs) and polarization multiplexing is proposed and demonstrated. The radar can generate and process linearly frequency modulated (LFM) signals in dual bands simultaneously. In the experiments, the dual-band signals were successfully generated, with the frequencies of 3–4 GHz, 5–9 GHz, and 8–12 GHz, 13–14 GHz, and 20–21 GHz, 22–26 GHz, respectively. Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging is also experimentally implemented.
