Continued use of trastuzumab after progression in human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 positive breast cancer

This article reviews the cause of trastuzumab in treating human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER2)positive breast cancer, the evidence-based practice of continued use of trastuzumab, and some approaches to improve the efficacy of trastuzumab.
