摘要
Radioecological monitoring is crucial for observation, assessment and forecast of the impact of radiation factors on people and environment. The analytical paper provides recommendations for the sampling of soil, snow, and vegetation for radioecological monitoring in arctic areas. It also presents different aspects of organizing general assessment of ecological condition in the buffer and control areas. The paper reveals the basic mechanism of radical accumulation in the soil, and radioisotope sorption factors depending on mechanical and mineralogical soil composition and on plant structure.
