Experimental Study on Hydraulic Performances of Screen Filter for Micro-irrigation

As a kind of special water cleaning equipment,the screen filter has its unique hydraulic performance.In this paper,the authors analyze the mechanism of filtration and combine the experimental study to get the results that under the silt water condition,when the clogging of screen approaches to certain extent,the increasing degree of head loss is obviously strengthen.The head loss of the screen filter is mainly related to these factors,such as the flow,the filtration time,and the sand situation.These factors determine the speed and sequence of clogging.
