Lower boiling point organic acids in pharmaceutical waste water were separated by using reduced-pressure distillation.Qualitative and quantitative analysis of lower bailing point organic acids were performed by fourier transform infrared spectrometry,gas chromatography and GC-mass spectrometry.Ten organic acids were examined.The quantity of lower boiling point acids was 2.64% in pharamaceutial waste waster.Among them,the quantity of propionic acid was the most,acetic acid was the next most.Meanwhile,ethanol and ethanal were examined too.Moreover,Highter boiling point organic acids in pharmaceutical waste water were separated using ion exchange column chromatography,and derived. Four organic acid were confirmed,their quantity was 1.71% relative to waste water .The quantity of 9,12-octadecene diacid was the most in higher boiling point organic acids.Total of organic acids was 4.45% in pharmaceutial waste water.
