Application value of 3D DSA imaging in diagnosis and treatment of intracranial aneurysms

Objective: To investigate the application value of 3D DSA angiography in the diagnosis and treatment of intracranial aneurysms. Methods: First,by conventional DSA angiography,54 cases with suspicious aneurysm were screened; the suspected aneurysm was under the 3D DSA angiography,and he aneurysm morphology,size of the tumor,width of aneurysm neck,and the relationship between parent artery and the aneurysm were determined through 3D vascular imaging. Then,repeated playback of 3D aneurysms images were performed to determine the optimal working angle for aneurysm embolization. Finally,a surgery for the aneurysm embolization was performed based on the best working angle through super-selectively guiding the micro ribbon microcatheter to 1 /3 inside and outside of the arterial and foreign 1 /3,withdrawing the micro-guidewire,and releasing the coil through a microcatheter to achieve the artery embolization. Results: 3D DSA diagnosed and made 55 aneurysms be embolized. Conclusions: In comparison with conventional DSA,3D DSA has unparalleled advantages,and it combined with conventional DSA angiography has great values in the clinic in the diagnosis and treatment of aneurysm.
