Plutella xylostella The diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella, is a global notorious agricultural pest that can develop highlevel resistance to Bt biopesticides without obvious growth penalty. In article number 2307650, Zhaojiang Guo, Youjun Zhang, and co-workers reveal that RNA m6A methylation suppresses juvenile hormone (JH)-degrading enzyme JH esterase (JHE) to increase JH titer thereby minimizing Bt resistance-related fitness costs in P. xylostella, which could be utilized for managing insect Bt resistance and developing novel pest control strategies.
