Research progress in establishment of mouse models of pulmonary fibrosis

Pulmonary fibrosis is a type of severe pulmonary interstitial disease characterized by the injury of alveolar epithelial cells and the proliferation of pulmonary fibroblasts and the accumulation of extracellular matrix.At present, the pathogenesis of pulmonary fibrosis is still unclear.Animal models, especially mouse models, were used to provide reference for basic research and drug screening and efficacy evaluation of pulmonary fibrosis.This paper aims to summarize the establishment methods of the mouse model of pulmonary fibrosis in recent years and provide a reference for the establishment of a more perfect mouse model of pulmonary fibrosis in the future.
