DISCUSSION ON THE STABILITY OF SUBGRADE IN PLATEAU PERMAFROST AREA

This paper describes the subgrade disease of trial section on Qinghai-Tibet Railway after a freeze-thaw cycle, analyzes the problems in the subgrade based on observation on the subgrade settlement and proposes the protection measures for ice-riching permafrost and precautions for the construction in platceau permafrost area.
