Camellia oleifera resources in Anhui and its development prospect in Jianghuai Region

As the climate type of the transitional belt from warm temperate zone to sub-tropic,Anhui Province is not only suitable distribution areas,but also the north-fringe region for Camellia oleifera.There is difficult to make policy for oil-tea planter in some north-fringe areas.In order to provide a basis for oil-tea cultivation at Jianghuai Region of Anhui,the climatological characterisitics,oil-tea resources distribution status,selection and breeding of fine varieties,and introduction and cultivation,agronomy characteristics and development prospect in Jianghuai Region were discussed.
