摘要
Since, Graphene Oxide exhibits exciting photoluminescence (PL) properties, the aim is to enhance the PL property of Graphene oxide by the functionalization with noble metals such as gold and silver. We also attempt to study the effect of Q-dot such as CdS nanoparticles to observe the optical properties of Graphene oxide. The concept of fluorescence is commonly explained by the electron-hole recombination from the bottom of the conduction band and nearby valance band. Solid samples s-GO were obtained by spin coating the respective solutions of GO, Silver, Gold and CdS onto glass substrates at room temperature for 30 min. The photoluminescence were analyzed for all samples. This work mainly focused on the interaction between graphene oxide and BSA using UV-Visible absorption, and photoluminescence studies. Results of UV-visible and photoluminescence studies proved that BSA fluorescence was quenched by graphene oxide via a static quenching principle.
