Social Capital 2: Results from Empirical Exploration into the Relationship between Social Capital and the Performance of District Health Boards in Saskatchewan, Canada

An exploration of the relationship between social capital in districts and effective political governance by District Health Boards (DHBs) in Sasakatchewan, Canada, was conducted. A model was proposed that identified components of social capital such as trust, commitment and identity, associational and civic participation and collaborative problem-solving.
