Investigation of Polymer Waveguide Splitters for Co-packaged Optics using External Laser Sources

We present polymer-based 1×4 Y-splitters with tapered and S-bend waveguides on the glass-epoxy substrate and characterize the optical properties of these splitters using O-band wavelengths and external laser source (ELS) with high optical power exceeding +20 dBm.
