Influence of winding tension rules on mechanical properties of carbon fiber reinforced composite

The influence of winding tension rules on mechanical properties of carbon fiber reinforced composite is studied by orthogonal test design for winding tension of T700/E-51 composites and performance testing with tensile strength of NOL rings as investigation index.Test results and analysis of variance showed that:a) winding tension rules have a significant impact on the tensile properties of T700/E-51 NOL rings specimens;b) a decreasing tension rules can enhance the NOL rings specimen tensile properties greatly;c) in order to reduce the variability of performance,the continuity of the tension changing needs to be resolved.
