Research and Example on the Application of Dimension Engineering for Aircraft Structures

This paper focuses on the characteristics of the complex structure and assembly level of aircraft, expounding the method of implementing the dimension engineering, emphasizing the importance of establishing the dimension engineering system under the background of digital manufacturing, and introduces how the dimension of the whole design and production stage is implemented in detail. With the combination of the actual production situation and the theoretical knowledge, the paper introduces and studies the dimension engineering method from the angle of design and production. The proposed method can be applied to the pre-size design of the aircraft parts. At the same time, it can solve the existing dimension problems quickly under the idea of the dimension engineering system and to carry out program evaluation and forecasting of the existing plan.
