Laws of Soil Hydraulic Erosion of Slope Projects and Application of Coiled Material for Erosion Control

The paper summarizes the basic laws of water erosion on slopes,and points out that uncovered slope surface is of important area for causing serious soil erosion.It finds out that slope cover is the key factor to affect slope erosion among all factors.On the basis,it mainly discusses the problems of erosion control during the period from bare soil to vegetation-cover or engineering-cover in various kinds of slopes formed in construction and puts forward using artificial cover material,especially using coiled material for erosion control is the inevitable choice for erosion control of slope surface.
