Experiment Modal and Finite Element Modal Analysis of Motorcycle Frame

This paper introduces the theories of modal analysis,uses modal testing system to identify the frame modal parameters of one motorcycle,conducts modal analysis on this motorcycle frame with finite element software,MSC.Patran/Nastran,and compares simulation results,which demonstrates the agreement of the two analytical methods.
