The Research on a Vacuum Gun

A vacuum gun is another type of an air gun. This paper gives its special aerodynamic and dkinematic equations, analyzes its characteristies and compares its testing capability with that of 220 mm vacuum gun. Moreover, it presents the methods for calculating the optimum volume of a vacuum pot, the optimum caliber of a gun tube and the optimum length of a tested projectile.
