Efficacy of floated pin combined with gabapentin therapy for 36 cases with herpes zoster neuralgia

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of floating pin combining with gabapentin capsules in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia. Methods 36 cases with post herpetic neuralgia of our hospital from April 2009 to April 2011 were selected.36 patients with post herpetic neuralgia were treated the floating pin combining gabapentin capsule therapy. And observed the clinical efficacy of 36 patients. Results After the floating pin combining with gabapentin capsule therapy,the total effective rate of 36 patients was 91.67%. Conclusion Floating pin combining with gabapentin capsule has good effect in the treatment of herpes zoster neuralgia,and can effectively alleviate neuropathic pain of PHN patients.It has good effect,no pain and easy implementation.
