Conditioned Primary Culture of Astrocyte in Rat Optic Nerve

Objective To introduce a method for condition primary culture of astrocyte of optic nerve.Methods Conditioned medium was made of GGF-BF ,and astrocyte of optic nerve was cultured and purified by shaking.Identification was made by means of microscope observation and immunohistochemistry.Results Astrocyte of rat optic nerve was cultured and purified,which showed positive reaction to glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP). Conclusion Conditioned primary culture of rat optic nerve, purified through shaking,is a reliable and quick method.
