Structure Improvement of Encoding and Decoding Algorithms for Fountain Codes

The Raptor codes are analysed on the basis of LT codes.According to the advantages of linear encoding and decoding property of irregular repeat accumulate(IRA) codes,a new structure of Fountain codes combining the Raptor codes with IRA codes are proposed.This structure not only retains the original performance but also can efficiently improve the recovery ability of the data unit.Using other technology together with Raptor codes is the main research direction.
