Gold-catalyzed ring enlargement and cycloisomerization of alkynylamide tethered alkylidenecyclopropanes

A gold(i)-catalyzed ring enlargement and cycloisomerization of alkynylamide tethered alkylidenecyclopropanes has been developed, providing facile access to functionalized polycyclic and spiropolycyclic products based on the use of gold(i) catalysts.
