Synthesis of naphthalene-substituted aromatic esters via Rh(iii)-catalyzed C–H bond naphthylation and cascade directing group transformation

An alternative way to the rational use of imidate group in Rh( iii )-catalyzed C–H bond naphthylation, affording a variety of naphthalene-substituted esters with high efficiency and good regioselectivity.
