Exploring Links Between Hybrid Work Characteristics and Career Success Through Social Cognitive Career Theory

With the rapid transformations of the information age, hybrid work characteristics have become increasingly prevalent across organizations. Drawing on social cognitive career theory, this study examined the relationship between hybrid work characteristics and career success using three-wave survey data from 356 employees. The results indicate that career self-efficacy partially mediates the relationship between hybrid work characteristics and career success, and that self-leadership partially moderates this indirect effect.
